Liza Rhea is a Los Angeles–based 3D artist and director with more than 13 years of experience in animation. She has worked with leading studios including DreamWorks Animation, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and LAIKA, creating richly detailed characters, environments, and hero assets while helping translate distinctive 2D artwork into compelling 3D worlds.

Her recent work includes environment and asset development for the upcoming movie 'Forgotten Island' and Bong Joon Ho’s animated feature 'Ally'. Previously, she served as an Environment Supervisor at Disney Animation and made her directorial debut with the short film The No. 2 Kettering, now streaming on Disney+.

Alongside her studio work, Liza is developing an original animated learning series for children. The project brings together her interests in storytelling, art direction, emerging AI tools, and accessible animation workflows to create playful, culturally curious adventures for young audiences.
